With a really difficult survival situation for the families of Burahya Community and the lock down extended until May 20, on 8th May we managed to make the 2nd distribution of the Emergency kits.
This time, with extreme caution, it has been the representative of one of the villages, who drives a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) who is allowed to move for the delivery of goods.
To date we have delivered:
– 280 bars of soap
– 250kg of rice
– 150kg of sugar
– 120kg of salt
– 80L of cooking oil
– Sanitary Instructions in Rutooro
Reaching more than 350 beneficiaries among children and adults
As long as the situation persists and we will make new deliveries that cover basic needs and give an opportunity to all families.
